Welcome to AsaaseYaa. By using this app you agree to these terms.

AsaaseYaa gives farm advice for learning and planning. Crop steps, watering amounts, feeding doses and harvest estimates are worked out by the app from general crop guides for Ghana. They are not a visit from an agronomist. Check important decisions with a qualified agronomist or extension officer.

AsaaseYaa and its developers are not liable for crop losses, input costs or other harm that comes from using the information in the app.

AsaaseYaa is run by ModularPath Systems, a business registered in Ghana.

Market listings are between the buyer and the seller. For buying and selling goods, AsaaseYaa shows the listing and the seller's phone number; it does not take the payment, hold the money or deliver the goods. Agree the price, quality and delivery with the other person before you pay. A tick on a shop means AsaaseYaa checked who runs it; it is not a guarantee of the goods.

Equipment rentals are different: when you rent through the app, AsaaseYaa holds the rent and the deposit for the two people renting, as their agent, and releases them as the rental agreement says. Before paying, both sides read and sign an agreement written for that booking. AsaaseYaa is not a party to the rental, does not own, inspect, operate or insure the equipment, and is not responsible for damage, injury or loss caused by it or by its use. Tractors, power tillers, harvesters and planters are rented only with the owner's driver.

To rent out or rent equipment, you must pass a Ghana Card check in the app. At pick-up and return both sides test the item together in the app; those records, the signed agreement and any photos decide what happens to the deposit. An owner can claim from the deposit only for something that worked at pick-up and failed at return. When the two sides disagree, AsaaseYaa staff decide about the held money from those records; this decision does not stop either side from going to court about anything beyond it.

Paid services (boosting a listing, shop plans, extra photo checks) are paid through Paystack and are for the period shown when you pay. They are not refunded once they have started, except where the law says otherwise or the service did not work because of us.

A photo check is an estimate made by a computer from your picture. It can be wrong. Before you spray or buy anything because of it, check with an agronomist, an extension officer or a trusted agro shop.

Do not use AsaaseYaa to cheat, to list things you do not have, to rent out something that is not yours, or to pretend to be someone else. We may hide listings, hold back rentals and close accounts that break these terms.

Community posts must be about farming and respectful. Do not post spam, adverts, insults, other people's private details or advice you know is dangerous. Anyone can report a post; our team hides posts that break these rules and may close accounts that keep breaking them. You can block a farmer at any time.

You keep ownership of your farm data. We do not sell your personal information.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes are settled in the courts of Accra.

We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app; using the app after an update means you accept it.
